Autumn!

I don't understand how time passes so quickly. Make it stop. Make it stop.

I'd like to go back six months. I would have done it differently. I'm afraid it is too late now.

Marcella starts school in the morning--a junior. Wow! Jessica is home deciding what to do next. I know the feeling.

I continue to clean out the house. This time the garage attic. Everything came out. I vacuumed every inch of it. Now I'm going through every box that came out and trashing, donating or repacking for storage.

I'm getting the girls to help. I keep saying that when I'm dead and they have to go through it they'll be glad i did such a good job of not keeping a bunch of random crap.

I thought I'd get a handle on my growing wardrobe. I asked myself how many black sweaters, skirts, jackets, shoes (you get the picture) I might need. A lot of it is pretty much identical. So my answer was enough. Now I'm back to buying navy and white. I also have a lot of tans. Love my grays too.

Maybe tomorrow I'll post about my exbf moving out. A long story with a not so happy ending.

August Already 2009

Jessica is back home and making decisions about what next. Marcella has this week of summer school and is already getting ready for junior year. I'm at Mill Creek and busier than ever.

This year I was able to get some big projects off my list of things to do--roof, dormer and now exterior paint. I'm also cleaning house. I'm getting rid of stuff as fast as I can.

The only thing that seems to be growing is my wardrobe including shoes. We all have our vices. That happens to be mine along with gardening and espresso.

mapping youtube--that's just crazy

a friend of mine showed me how i can search google maps with the search term "youtube" and a zip code. you get "user-created content". this shows you youtube clips from folks in that zip code. it is simply amazing how fast information is collected and shared.

hmm...okay, I created an account but cannot get to gmail to complete the registration process. so i be bloggin and loggin about that. any way, i keep getting an error that says that internet explorer cannot display gmail. oh, dud. fine then.

i hear folks lovin facebook. my teens love myspace. so i promise, cross my heart and poke a needle in my eye that i'll get back to it.

I try to be lovely. It ain't always easy.

I did not sign up for Flikr. I don't have a great interest in accessing images.

I don't think this image was a good choice. I suppose there is some way to make it larger. I might go back and see if there are images of trendy exterior house colors. That is what I'm doing in my life right now---that and gardening.
