PWK

Parents without Kids.

The first time I heard that term was visiting NASA last November. The tour guide referred to the staff members with expensive sport cars parked in the lot as "PWKs". He indicated as a PWK you have more time, energy and money.

I recall that with great fondness today. Why? Thanks for asking.

Last night, about 11pm, I got up to see how Jessica was doing on her final essay for Washington State History. It was due last Monday. Marcella heard me come down the stairs, hid in a dark place, and jumped out scaring the wajeebeez (spelling?) out of me.

I got up this morning and informed my two cherubs that I had a difficult time getting back to sleep and felt exhausted. They felt bad and wanting to make ammends decided to help me jump start my day. In my world, that means a capaccino.

In their world? It means a pitcher of ice water while I'm taking a shower.

I'm thinking short sheeting and some raisin bran might be in their future!

Darlene, I have been looking for your blog, and finally today there you are! How did I know? Let's see you mentioned J and M, there was no question.
This might be more fun then email, but I guess it is not as private, so we have to watch our "p's & q's".
Preschool is the blog.
At you later.
